Place One Systems has learned that some clients (both home and business) are being contacted by persons claiming to be from the Technical Support department alerting them to an alleged virus infection on their computer systems.  The callers claim that they can remove the virus infection for a fee and ask for the client’s credit card information.

Please be advised that the callers DO NOT represent Place One Systems or our vendor partners.  We caution our clients not to respond to any caller’s attempts to obtain credit card information.

If you are ever unsure of a call claiming to be from Place One Systems or our vendor partners, you are advised to hang up the phone and call our offices directly to verify whether the call was genuinely from us or our partners.
